Quasi-Static Loading Test on Di-AC embedded GFRP and Control Sample
: Comparaitive Study
– Strain rate: 0.0032 mm/sec
– Epoxy Resin: Hardener (100:27)
– 5 wt% Dimeric Anthracene (Di-AC, mechanophore)
– Dimension: 55mm(L) x 20mm(W) x 0.9mm (T)
– Field of View: 22mm x 22mm
– Induced delamination using Teflon
– Notch of length ≈1mm at the left edge of the specimen
- UV Images of Specimens
- Intensity change in the Di-AC sample is much larger
- Control sample did not show any clear indications of intensity increase
