– 5 wt% Dimeric Anthracene (Di-AC, mechanophore)
– Dimension: 55mm(L) x 20mm(W) x 0.9mm (T)
– Field of View: 22mm x 22mm
– Induced delamination using Teflon
– Notch of length ≈1mm at the left edge of the specimen

  • Intensity of fluorescence increases as strain increases
  • Intensity increases around induced delamination – feasibility of mechanophore for in situ damage detection
